FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time do we get picked up for our tour?

Pick up times depend on your location. We will confirm via email the day prior to your tour what time you will be picked up. In general, pickups will be between 7.30 & 8.00am Please be waiting 5 mins prior to your allocated pick up time at the front of your designated hotel.

What should I bring along on my tour?

We recommend appropriate clothes for the weather expected, good shoes, and from April to September a hat and sunscreen if you have it! From October to February weather changes to more rainfull therefore a raincoat or umbrella are advised.

How do I pay for the tour I've booked?

Tour prices are listed in U.S. Dollars but we obviously accept Vietnamese Dong as well. If you are travelling on other currencies please contact us prior to your tour and we will advise the local currency amount due. Tour payments are collected at the tours conclusion and we ask that you have the correct amount as we do not carry large amounts of change. Unfortunately we DO NOT take credit cards.

Im a bit scared of trying foreign foods, will it be safe?

All foods on our tour are carefully selected. They are all easy to eat by western standards and if you are worried about hot chillis, then please don't be as none of the dishes we will be trying will be hot to taste. For those that do like chilli there will always be chilli condiments that can be added if you prefer! We also DO NOT offer any of the 'extreme' shock value types of food that you have probably heard about. If you are of the adventurous type, please ask and we can give you information on where you can find these rather unusual local delicacies.

Do you offer discounts if we book a large group?

Please contact us via our Contact page and provide us with some more information and we will happily provide you with a competitive quote. Our tours are designed for small groups so we can offer the best service we can however we do try and accomodate all requests.

We are travelling with two small children ages 1 and 4 years. How much do you charge for very young children?

If you are happy to let your youngsters try your own food then children 5 and under are FREE whilst children 6-12 have a reduced rate to particpate in the tour.

We are interested in the Bike Safari but have children aged 8 and 10 years. Is this Safari suitable for them?

This Safari is suited ideally to children 7 and up however we can cater for younger children by arrangement. If a children's seat is required, a special bike with seat can be hired at an additional cost.

I understand we get a free pick up but do we get a hotel drop off as well after our tour?

As our tour finishes near the old quarter of Hoi An, we DO NOT include a drop off as most people wander off at their own leisure to explore the ancient town. If you prefer to go back to your hotel once the tour has finished, a taxi rank is very close and only a few minutes walk away and to get home will usually cost only a few dollars. Our bicycle tour will lead you back to your hotel.

Can you recommend a good tailor?

There are over 500 tailor and shoe shops available in Hoi An. Yes we can make some recommendations for clothes, shoes and leather items you may be looking for.

Do you accept credit cards?

Unfortunately we DO NOT offer the ability to pay using credit card. Payment can be made in either local currency, US Dollars or Australian Dollars

Do you pick up from Cua Dai Beach?

Free pick ups are offered from local Hoi An hotels only. Taxis are readily available from other areas like Cua Dai, An Bang and Da Nang however this will be at your own expense.

Do you have any other tours?

After our first full year of operation, we have developed two other tours from customers requests. We now are offering a wonderful bicycle tour of the area surrounding Hoi An and we will be offering a new My Son Safari soon. This will take you to the Unesco heritage My Son Champa ruins about 30KM south of Hoi An!

What's the minimum number of people for the tour to operate?

Tours guaranteed to operate with a minimum of two people. If you are a single person and there is no other bookings we can operate the tour if you are prepared to pay a single surcharge. Please contact us for further information.
